A little butterfly it flaps its wings on the West African forest rim

New Orleans best beware
Because it’s chaos working from a small disturbance
To a huge influence. Who knows where
As the Coriolis induced spin creates a seething vortex spiralling
Across the boiling Gulf of Mexico. Water superheated by a warming globe
And now Katrina’s headed straight for New Orleans
And all the levee banks are full of leaks
They’ll be breached by the sea
Because it’s Chaos calling with a distant warning for a racially divided USA
Massive inundation of this cruel, unequal nation
Hits the poor and black neighbourhoods
While the wealthy stand by and look
And from the staggering incompetence of a fumbling US president
Comes relief so slow and unrehearsed, only Tony Abbot could do worse
Bush surveys the wreckage from high in the air
The US president just does not care
But George W, best beware
Because it’s chaos calling with a special warning for a racist US president
It’s just chaos working to reveal the failings of the US Commander in Chief
Allowing all to see his stupidity
